a little about Rutab
for little ones who deserve to feel held
Rutab began the way most soft things do, quietly, in a mother's lap. i wanted my little one to grow up knowing his faith the way he knows my voice, warm and near, something that makes the world feel bigger and safer at once.
so i started painting these stories. small tales drawn from the Quran, one gentle idea at a time, given to a child in a language they already understand. honey, a bee, a seed, a moon at the window. no fear, no lectures. just the quiet certainty that Allah is kind, and that the world is full of good.
we are making these slowly, and making them beautiful. watercolour on a clean white page, thick paper if you choose to print, the kind of book a small hand keeps reaching for and a grown up is happy to read again. books meant to be loved soft at the corners, and passed on.
